London, UK and Cambridge, MA, September, 2014 – Life sciences management consulting firm Alacrita announced today that it has strengthened its medical technology practice with the appointment of Dr Stuart Hendry as an Associate Partner. Stuart is based in the Cambridge, UK office and will help serve Alacrita’s growing roster of clients in the medical device and diagnostics sectors.
Stuart brings a depth of industry expertise and management consulting experience to Alacrita. Most recently he was the CEO of Sphere Medical, a UK medical device company commercialising a range of patient monitoring and diagnostic products which he took through an IPO to an AIM listing. Prior to founding Sphere Medical, he held a number of senior operational roles including Pfizer Hospital Products, Diametrics and PowderJect PLC.
Stuart was formerly Head of the Life Sciences practice at Scientific Generics PLC in Cambridge, UK, an international science, technology consulting and product development group. As a medical device consultant, he focuses on technical and commercial due diligence, innovation and product development strategy and advises on a broad range of companies in diagnostics, patient monitoring and drug delivery.
